Through play based learning P1 have been exploring patterns of two and three colours, and learning their numbers within 5. From using the coloured bears and cubes to make patterns, to playing the Happy Faces game in pairs and counting how many altogether and choosing the correct numeral by placing a peg on the number, there is lots of practical learning going on in P1! Just look at those happy faces!
